Southwest Georgia Project is an established 501 (c) 3 organization. Our work is focused in approximately 14 southwest Georgia counties. In carrying out the mission, SWGP's work is informed by the following three goals:
- Goal #1: Develop a more community oriented food system by creating links along the value chain, educating consumers and creating a regional food hub,
- Goal #2: Increasing opportunities to farmers through training, education, collaboration and market access, and
- Goal #3: Build sustainable communities by advancing a human rights/social justice agenda through community organizing and issue framing.
